Transition Town Wandsworth - first planning meeting for community garden

We're progressing nicely with plans to create a community garden on a stip of land near Smugglers way - granted by Wandsworth Council (almost).

We're setting a precedent in the area with this project so the leg work being done (with regards legal, etc) will set the standard and make it easier for every following project to get started.

However, we need as many people as possible to step up and volunteer there services; your reward - the chance to create something unique in the area and turn a neglected piece of land into a thing of beauty.

If ever you were interested in the whole idea of community gardening now is the time to show it. Please come down on Monday and make your voice heard. We need your know-how and inspiration to make this work.
