2 miles radius is approx 15 minutes cycling time
I've added a link to your Wave pre-meet event to our front page blog... hope that's OK!

Both mixes you should soak overnight before planting, but drain after night (can then planted for next few days)
Is there somewhere obvious at Roots and Shoots I should leave supply?

so I think this means about 1 sq m total as normally plant four rows per sq metre with total of 20g of wheat. Shall I drop off 10g of modern mix and 10g of traditional mix. I would like some of resulting wheat crop back as we'll pool with similar from other S. London plantings to effectively create a S. London 'landrace' for 2010 planting (both mixes should become noticeably more productive in second year as they will have started to naturally select to suit locality)

I am away planting more wheat in Catalonia from December 1st to 8th. If you think you will have some bags ready that you would like to put some wheat in during that time I coudl drop you off grain supply before I go

Love the idea of unloved places competition. I cannot figure out how to get to the discussion group or join the process though. However, I would love to nominate the space in the centre of the Vauxhall Cross one way gyratory system. Huge areas of stale grass surrounded by traffic, advertising hoardings and the bus garage.
