Profile Information

About Me:
I'm a FoodUpFront Street Rep on the Blenheim Gardens Estate off Brixton Hill, where I've lived since Oct '07. I have a little garden, front and back, and grow what I can.

I've started the Blenheim Gardens (Edible) Estate Project, which is Capital Growth's number one growing project. I'm also in Transition Town Brixton, with active involvement in the Food Group and I'm interested in green mapping and have started the South London Fruit and Nut Tree Map and South London Green Space Map which hopefully will become part of an integrated Green Map with lots of layers soon. I'm also a member of Terra Madre Kings Cross (I used to live in Camden!) and am a number one fan of Project Dirt!
Key Interests
Conservation, Recycling, Composting, Carbon Reduction, Wildlife, Gardening
Experience/Skills
Project and event management. Growing things and cooking. I like learning a bit about all sorts of useful traditional skills - from hen keeping to cheese making, knitting to rag rug making, baking to making sock monkeys :)

He has been here three times to discuss the filming. If you want to come I'll email you my number. I will try to come to the next Balham drinks with a friend who has been growing for 10 years in Leyton. Hope all is well in Brixton...bye for now
