Thanks for your support in the Free Solar bid. We had over 550 people send emails and post comments.

Despite the clear public interest in our proposal, our bid was unfortunately not successful and we will not be able to offer free solar panels under this project. We didn't win this one but Lambeth Superhomes continues to look for ways to work with communities to deliver financed ‘whole house’ eco-renovation delivered by trained local tradespeople.

I will post future initiatives on my blog.

I am enjoying a brief respite from working for someone else to write up a toolkit for carbon reduction groups that use city farms or other such venues as an instructional and motivational resource. Also in charge of the bees and beekeeping as board member for www.thegoldenco-op.com, a project for at risk youth to learn life and business skills (and sustainability).
