Cheers, Nick
Morgan Paton and the Peckham community have been petitioning for over 2 years and look forward to officially opening the new skate park at Peckham Rye SE15, on Saturday the 25th of April 2009 at 1:00pm and will celebrate the opening with a Sk8 Jam Party – All are invited.
Peckham residents and visitors are also excited at the new Great Outdoor Gym neighbouring the new Skate Park and features all the modern gym machines found in subscription fitness centres, not only outdoor but totally free.
Today Peckham’s facilities were being visited from visitors from international communities looking at adopting these health and activity gym installations created by our very own Peckham based company - The Great Outdoor Gym Company Ltd.
You and I Skills talks to Matt Delane from The Great Outdoor Gym Company Ltd, Southwark park Community Wardens and gets views from local Peckham residents

I currently have what I think may be the perfect undeveloped allotment site, which I am beginning to approach Thames water about.

yes i did - it was well attended - rumour has it there were a number of people queing outside that coulnt get in.
i have all the bumff from the talk - and we'll get a blog up on it.
in short, i think conceptually it seems to be a good idea ... but i worry that it's delivery may be asking too much. also i'm slightly concerned about the decision-making processes - and how complex they'd need to be (and the layers involved).
the best part is that LAs (signed up) are now required to be transparent about their spending - which is interesting.
i'll send you a proper debrief if we get a chance to get round to one!
cheers
Hope all well - just checking all is working well with your new profile!?
Hopefully catch up soon
Mark
