Despite the clear public interest in our proposal, our bid was unfortunately not successful and we will not be able to offer free solar panels under this project. We didn't win this one but Lambeth Superhomes continues to look for ways to work with communities to deliver financed ‘whole house’ eco-renovation delivered by trained local tradespeople.
I will post future initiatives on my blog.
All the best
Chris
I think we'll get a good idea about who'll join the steering group from the meeting at the Quakers, but the feedback from the questionnaires should help us highlight some possibles too. I'll circulate that in the next day or two.
Thanks,
Gavin
We had about 30 new names, and half of them said they'd be interested in joining TTW. A few also offered to help with organising events. I'll send them all an invite for 10th Nov this week. Should have the other info they gave us compiled this week as well.
Thanks,
Gavin
Have been in Brum at a conference and am dealing with annoying legal kerfuffle. Am progressing on my to-do list. Will reply properly ASAP.
Thank you for your message.
The Environmental Policy Event is part of the Go Green Plus, a project funded by the European Regional Development Fund that aims to help businesses in South West London to improve their environmental performance and reduce associated costs. The boroughs we are working with are: Merton, Sutton, Wandsworth, Lambeth, Richmond and Kingston.
Regarding the Environmental Policy Event, any business based in London can take part in it.
Do you have an email address? I would like to send your details to my colleague who works primarily in Merton. The Transition Towns are becoming very popular and it would be good to know more about this initiative in Wimbledon!
If you have any other enquiry about the Go Green Plus, please, do not hesitate to get in contact!
Kind Regards
Greice
I managed to make a few contacts before it finished on Saturday.
I've had a look at who's been invited and I think the mailing list have been contacted now. I've emailed the few that I hadn't already added but it looks like Gareth's done the rest - we can check if anyone's been missed at the meeting tomorrow.
See you then,
Gavin
See you at the Wandsworth Green Fair.
